Head of Communication and Marketing
The Communications Manager at B&R, the Machine Automation Division of the ABB Group, is globally responsible for all internal and external communication activities, ensuring that the company's market leadership is clearly communicated. This global leadership role involves developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with business objectives. The role requires close collaboration with R&D and Sales to design targeted, multi-channel communication initiatives. Key areas include thought leadership, external media relations, internal change communication, trade shows, and event communication. Additionally, the role involves creating and localizing relevant content, strategically managing media relations, and measuring the success of communication efforts through KPIs. Coordination with ABB's central communication teams and alignment of local communication efforts on a global scale are also critical responsibilities. The current responsibility covers a total of five people, with the position "MR, PR and PA" also still open. Thus, the position will be responsible for at least six people.
Your primary workplace can be chosen flexibly within a radius of 300 km around Eggelsberg (e.g. Munich, Regensburg, etc.). Regular presence of approximately 50% at our headquarters in Eggelsberg is expected.
In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 4,762.59 gross per month as of May 2025. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
